Terms and Conditions

Arrival and Departure

Check-in is after 4pm. To ensure that each lodge can be thoroughly cleaned and prepared we ask that you do not arrive earlier than this time, please. Your lodge must be vacated by 10.00am, at the latest, on your last day.

Booking and Payment

Bookings can only be confirmed after receipt of: The booking form signed, accepting our terms and conditions, by a person over 18 on behalf of your party, and a 25% deposit of the booking amount, or full amount if then payable, is paid within 3 days of the booking being placed. Confirmation will then be issued showing the confirmed holiday dates.

A booking made within 8 weeks of your holiday arrival date must be paid in full. Balances must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date, then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation.

The confirmed booking binds you (the lead booker) and all members of the party who are part of the booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms and conditions. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination and loss of the booking. We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

Cancellation

We do not insure your holiday – that is your responsibility. We strongly recommend holiday cancellation insurance. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

If your booking is cancelled by Tudor Lodges due to circumstances beyond our control, notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made to us for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

The booking deposit of 25% is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within the 4 week period before arrival date, it is non-refundable. Cancellation between the 8 and 4 week period will be charged at 50%. If you cannot continue with your holiday as booked for whatever reason, as a good will gesture, we will try to provide alternative dates subject to availability, (but we are not bound by this) and you will be liable for any increase in tariff adjustment. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing (email accepted), and once received we will confirm the cancellation.

Occupancy

The lodges are suited to a maximum occupancy of 6 persons. No more persons may occupy the lodges than stated in the original booking form unless agreed in writing by us. Please be advised that no extra overnight visitors are allowed to stay in the property. If you wish to invite additional visitors to visit during your stay, please ask us first. If the lodge is under occupied, we only make beds for those named on the booking. Please note we do not provide towels.

Please do not move any furniture from one room to another, or any of the indoor furniture, furnishings or bedlinen outside. It is vitally important that you do not block fire exits by moving furniture or other objects across them. If beds need to be turned for accessibility, please ask us and we will take care of it. All inventory must remain in the property and not be taken to another property.

Pets

We are not pet-friendly; please make all members of your party aware. However, we do accept genuine service dogs and will ask for verification.

Smoking

We operate a NO SMOKING/VAPING policy in all of our lodges. Guests are welcome to smoke in the grounds and on their balconies but please dispose of your stubs/vapes/e-cigarettes responsibly.

We prohibit the use of fireworks, Chines lanterns, firepits, BBQs, candles and the storage and charging of E-bikes and E-scooters.

Damage or Breakages

In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you, (your service dog if applicable), or any member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result. We aim to be fair. Please treat the facilities and accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before check-out.

The accommodation will be inspected at the end of your holiday and you may be charged for any loss, damage or extra cleaning costs. These are to be paid in full within 7 days of notification. Lost keys, broken or lost remote controls, and damage to our profiling beds, rise and recline chairs, hoists and other mobility equipment will be chargeable.

If damage occurs and we must cancel and/or refund subsequent bookings, we may bring a claim against you for any loss arising as a result.

We reserve the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if you the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.

We or our representatives reserve the right to enter the property at any time to undertake essential maintenance, repairs or for inspection purposes.

You’ll be asked to leave the property, without any refund of the payment made. Any problem or complaint must be immediately reported directly to us to allow us the opportunity to resolve it.
