Terms and Conditions

Arrival and Departure

Check-in is after 4pm. To ensure that each lodge can be thoroughly cleaned and prepared we ask that you do not arrive earlier than this time, please. Your lodge must be vacated by 10.00am, at the latest, on your last day.

Booking and Payment

Bookings can only be confirmed after receipt of: The booking form signed, accepting our terms and conditions, by a person over 18 on behalf of your party, and a 25% deposit of the total bill. On confirmation of the booking, you become liable for the full balance of the account. THE BALANCE OF THE ACCOUNT MUST BE PAID NOT LATER THAN 4 WEEKS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF YOUR HOLIDAY. A booking made within 4 weeks of your holiday must be paid in full.

Cancellation

We do not insure your holiday – that is your responsibility. We strongly recommend holiday cancellation insurance. The booking deposit of 25% is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within the one-month period before arrival date, it is non-refundable.  If you cannot continue with your holiday as booked for whatever reason, we will try to provide alternative dates subject to availability.

Occupancy

The lodges are suited to a maximum occupancy of 6 persons. No more persons may occupy the lodges than stated in the original booking form unless agreed in writing by the owners.

Smoking

We operate a NO SMOKING policy in all of our lodges. Guests are welcome to smoke in the grounds and on their balconies but please dispose of your stubs responsibly.

BBQs

Due to increased insurance liability in recent years, we regret strictly no BBQs. Picnics are less work and much better!

Damage or Breakages

Please ensure that the lodge is left in a clean and tidy condition. Any damage should be reported to the owners immediately. You will be liable for damage or breakages caused by you or your party or if any excessive cleaning is required.

Energy

All lodges excepting 1 are all electric, having thermostatically controlled electric heating in all rooms. Coin operated meter (£1/£2) situated in kitchen cupboard right of sink drawer unit.

Liability

The owners do not accept liability for any personal injuries sustained by you or any member of your party (unless caused by the negligence of the owners or their staff) or for the loss, theft or damage of or to personal property howsoever caused, including motor vehicles. The owners are relieved of all liability should the accommodation reserved not be available due to circumstances beyond their control.

Misrepresentation

All information given in these conditions and all relating literature or given verbally is offered in good faith and in the belief that it is true. The owners cannot accept liability if information becomes inaccurate due to reasons beyond their control.

Pets

We are not pet-friendly; please make all members of your party aware.
